This September, Courageous Colorado is hitting the road again—this time across the Denver Metro area.
The Denver Metro Activation Tour will bring us to communities across Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Douglas, and Jefferson counties to connect residents, local leaders, students, and community organizations around a shared question: How can we make local democracy work better for everyone?
At each stop, we’ll bring people together to learn about practical democracy reforms, hear what matters most in each community, and explore opportunities for local action. Whether you’ve been part of Courageous Colorado’s work from the beginning or are joining the conversation for the first time, there’s a seat at the table for you.

From Listening to Local Action
Our tours build on each other. We started with our Spring 2025 Listening Tour, traveling across Colorado to hear directly from communities about what was working—and what wasn’t—in our democracy.
During our Fall 2025 Activation Tour, we returned to communities across the state to move from listening to action—sharing practical solutions, building relationships, and creating opportunities for people to get involved.
Now, the Denver Metro Activation Tour is taking that work deeper. Throughout September, we’ll focus on strengthening local connections, growing our coalition, and exploring opportunities to advance reforms that respond to the needs of individual communities.
